Kate Middleton Baby Bump, Due Date [VIDEO]: Pregnant Duchess and Prince William 2nd Wedding Anniversary Today, First On-Camera Charitable Appeal
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were married on April 29, 2011, making today their two-year anniversary. Unfortunately the two will not be able to be together today since Prince William is away on Royal Air Force duties. Sources have said, however, that the six-months pregnant Kate and her husband did manage to share celebrate a few days early with a private dinner. Even though she might be missing her Prince on their anniversary, Kate can enjoy the admiration she has been receiving for her first on-camera charitable appeal that aired this weekend for the United Kingdom's children's hospices.
On top of the following video, the 31-year-old royal is set to visit Naomi Children's Hospital in Hampshire, England, today for Children's Hospice Week 2013. Clearly devoted to her charitable work, Kate seems more than happy to spend her special day with a cause that she believes in.
In the video, she urges people to donate to children's hospices, much like the one she is visiting today.
"Children's hospices provide lifelines to families at a time of unimaginable pain," the mother-to-be says in the video.
Here is the first on-camera charitable appeal for Kate Middleton as a royal:
Though they might be apart for their second anniversary, sources have alleged that the two already celebrated last Friday. In the United Kingdom, the first weeding anniversary is cotton and the second is paper. According to a source Prince William and Kate "have bought each other appropriate gifts."
Also, we recently reported on some news that Kate would be spending about six weeks with her mother after the royal birth, in lieu of hiring a maternity nurse. This news has apparently been proven to be not so true. Palace officials stated:
"There are no formal plans for her to move in with her mum in Bucklebury. But after Will's paternity leave - currently expected to be two weeks - Kate will spend most of her time between London and Bucklebury."
