This is it! The last episode ended where Eren's Titan wrecked the Stohess district when he had a disorderly riotous brawl with Annie's Titan. Season 1 amazingly finished with a number of cliffhangers and since then, fans hang around waiting for its sequel. But fans of 'Attack On Titan' are getting antsier by the moment

After more than three years, the epic saga of the Attack on Titan universe is finally getting another anime adaptation and fans of the massive franchise are more excited than ever.

Kodansha Comics collaborated with Funimation to produce the first official trailer for Attack on Titan's second season that was released last December 24, bringing Christmas cheer a day early to anime fans according to Comic Book.

True to their word, there are number of enticing reveals in the trailer, many of which are already understood by those up to date on the manga.

The trailer starts out with footage that will be familiar to most fans, and army of titans walking malignly toward human civilization. As seen, there's been a breach in the Wall Rose, the second outermost wall protecting the citizens of the Chlorba District, the Karanese District and the Trost District.

Eren, Mikasa and Armin are all back in fighting form, taking out titan after titan with their various maneuvering techniques.

The crucial part of the trailer features a couple of new titans. One is a gigantic, fury titan can be seen catapulating a horse toward a member of the Survey Corps, the team most directly involve in fighting the titans. Another titan, smaller than his counterpart, was digging into the bodies of other titans.

According to Travelers Today, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 doesn't have a specific return date at this time, but Funimation, who carries the series stateside, has confirned that it will premiere on April 2017.
