However, recently while speaking on the whole issue Gavin Rossdale said that divorce was completely the opposite of what he ever wanted, reports The Sun.

The pair of Rossdale and 47-year-old Stefani shares three children, 10-year-old Kingston James McGregor, eight-year-old Zuma Nesta Rock and almost three-year-old Apollo Bowie Flynn. Their split shocked everyone. The divorce took place because apparently, Stefani found out about Rosedale's three-year affair with the nanny of their children.

While talking about divorce, Gavin Rossdale said that apart from death, divorce is the most painful and hardest thing. According to the 51-year-old rocker, his ex-wife still is incredible, reports Entertainment Tonight. Although Rossdale did not confirm the rumors about his three-year affair with the nanny, he did talk about dealing with reality.

According to Gavin Rossdale, one cannot be human and have regrets at the same time. When asked about going on a date again, he said that currently, he has a lot of things in mind. However, the rocker did say that his kids want him to have a new girlfriend and keeps on checking if a new name comes on the text.

It has been a long time for Gavin Rossdale to lead a single life. Perhaps he still misses Gwen Stefani.
