It seems that the crying is not over yet as there is a lot more of that underway. The creator of "This is Us" has just revealed in an interview that a lot more emotional moments coming in the upcoming episodes. Fans discovered during this week's episode when exactly Jack passed away, but it is still not clear how and what led to his death.

But it is apparent that the more fans find out, the more interesting scenes they should expect. "This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman discussed his decision to include the deaths of both Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and William (Ron Cephas Jones) in one episode in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

He said during the interview that Jack's death was originally slated to be revealed in the pilot, but they felt it was better to hold on for a few more episodes. Fogelman knew early on that if he wanted to really elicit a response from viewers he had to work both William and Jack into the lives of Randall (Sterling K. Brown), his wife Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) and their children.

E! reports that the news that not only will "The Big Three" lose their father but Randall will also lose his biological father was revealed in Season 1, episode 6. The show's creator joked that because two characters of "The Walking Dead" died in Season 7 premiere on Sunday, he felt that "This is Us" could take a whack at it. He explained that it was not his intention to break viewers' hearts by introducing both deaths at once. But he hopes that the news about William's cancer would give a glimpse of the future.

William will continue to appear in upcoming episodes, but viewers now have the news hanging over their heads while accepting his tragic storyline. He said that introducing the death of both men in the same episode is intended to drive home the overriding theme that people never really leave us when they die. Fogelman revealed that: "There is going to be a couple moments in the back part of this season, and the next season, and the third season and beyond, where people are going to need a moment."

He added that so much is being said about the crying in the series but possibly there is much more crying to be done, as they have not done too much sad crying. He continued to say that he thinks it is kind of a cathartic breaking open people with feeling, but there is also sadness in life, and the theory of human is that the spirit perseveres and that things happen.

He explains the second half of the season as dark and heavy since that is life. Fogelman stated that people will have to tighten their seat belts a little bit as he recently wrote the finale today and it is a doozy. However, viewers will have to wait a bit more in order to find out how Jack died, "So you will have time to weigh the theories in your mind."

It was also revealed during the interview that it is a complicated thing, as fans are going to understand a lot of the details of the how and the ramifications of Jack's death by the end of the season. Fogelman did not reveal if it is illness or something tragic that is the cause of Jack's death, as he based his decision on the fact that they want to reveal that in the show. He said fans are not going to know that for a bit more.
