"Pokemon Go" and other location-based augmented reality games developers will now need to get a permit before including Milwaukee County Park location in their games. This news is a total bummer for Milwaukee Pokemon trainers since it will be much harder now to catch them all.

According to Milwaukee Record, Niantic and other developers will have to pay for a permit if they want to do business in the location. "Virtual and location-based augmented reality games are not permitted in Milwaukee County Parks except those areas designated with a permit for such use by the Director of the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Culture (DPRC)," the ordinance read. The permit is effective per January 1, 2017. During the meeting, the supervisor Sheldon Wasserman emphasized that this ordinance wasn't meant to target Pokemon Go only.

The "Pokemon Go" controversy began last summer as Milwaukee Park had become a popular destination for Pokemon Go players that eventually created a hostile situation in the park. The problems arising due to the Pokemon Go hits such as trash, parking problems, trampled landscapes, lack of problems, to a report from the neighbors who received violent threats. According to some reports, the Milwaukee's public grounds were completely trashed after the crowds surrounded the area. The local players are accused of disobeying several ordinances such as possession of alcohol, animal abuse, property destruction, and illegal disposal of waste.

However, Milwaukee County is not penalizing "Pokemon Go" trainers, as The Next Web reported. In conclusion, Milwaukee County doesn't want to be associated with fictional things. Niantic would need to file a lawsuit in order to overturn the ordinance, yet that doesn't seem to be something that the developer has planned yet.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon Go" fans are waiting for "Gen 2 Pokemon" Valentine's Day update. The upcoming update would reportedly introduce friendship-based evolutions, and it will most likely begin with Espeon and Umbreon. What makes the new update interesting is that players will get either Espeon or Umbreon depends on the time of day they evolve. Players will receive Umbreon when evolving at night and Espeon by evolving in the day.
