The "Diablo 3" Rise of the Necromancer DLC release date is a highly anticipated event for gamers of the long-running franchise. The upcoming expansion is indeed a bit nostalgic especially for those who have played the previous "Diablo 2" game. Bringing back the Necromancer class into the fold, here are some speculations on the Rise of the Necromancer DLC price as well as its expected launch date.

There are talks that the "Diablo 3" Rise of the Necromancer DLC price will be around $20. This prediction is based on the reasoning that the upcoming expansion pack may cost as much as the previous Reaper of Souls, which sold at $19.99, Mic reported.

However, the same publication also offered the possibility that the upcoming "Diablo 3" DLC price might be lower than the Reaper of Souls pack. Apparently, the Rise of the Necromancer DLC is not as expansive, and as such, may be priced even lower with the lowest possible pricing estimated at around $9.99.

Aside from its pricing, what gamers want to know the most is the "Diablo 3" Rise of the Necromancer DLC release date. For now, there are speculations that the expansion pack could be coming later this year and is likely to arrive by August or September.

These "Diablo 3" Rise of the Necromancer DLC release date predictions are discussed by gamers in the Battle.Net Diablo 3 general forum. While the recent livestream Q&A event revealed a lot of details about the upcoming DLC, it failed to inform excited games of a release window.

But of course, the lack of a formal announcement spurred gamers to make "Diablo 3" Necromancer DLC release date speculations of their own. According to gamers, patch 2.5 also known as the Armory patch is expected to roll out by summer, probably by May or June. The Necromancer DLC should not be too far behind and is likewise expected to arrive by August or September.
