"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is still months away but fans can't contain their excitement for the upcoming season. According to reports, the new season will premiere in July. Here's the latest update about your favorite TV show.

Initially, "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to return in April. However, the new season is delayed. Its showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss already confirmed that that show will return a bit late.

"No ... we don't have an airdate yet, but this year it'll probably be a bit later," the showrunners told UFC hosts, Matt Serra and Jim Norton. " We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'winter is here,' and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim, grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."

Liam Cunningham, on the other hand, teases that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 has an air date already. To save "GoT" fans who are waiting for the series this April from disappointment, the actor announced that the show will return in July. "It's July now, I think," said Cunningham per Winter is Coming.

As for what to expect in "Game of Thrones" Season 7, Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm in the series revealed that things are coming to close. The new season will be crazy, it will be surprising and those characters who haven't crossed each other's path will finally meet this time.

At the time, the cast and crew of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 are filming in Canada. Meanwhile, Maisie Williams a.k.a Arya Stark was spotted in Calgary while having a break from the set.
