YouTube is the go to site for video viewers.  People use YouTube for how to videos, to listen to music, watch their favorite stars in action, catch up on shows, or even watch movies.   However, the service that is currently free for billions may now come with fees. The Google owned company introducing a paid subscription service for up to 50 of its specialty channels later this week, according to Yahoo News.

While YouTube has not confirmed the new features, a spokesperson for Google said, "We're looking into creating a subscription platform that could bring even more great content to YouTube for our users to enjoy and provide our creators with another vehicle to generate revenue from their content, beyond the rental and ad-supported models we offer."

Will the new paid subscription feature apply to specific channels only, or will it affect the casual YouTube viewer as well? According to the Daily Mail, the new paid subscription may remove the ads completely as you watch videos.

YouTube began hosting specialty channels in October of 2012 and have received positive feedback on their newest addition to the website, Inquistr reported. The channels feature specialized content from major sources like BBC and now viewers will have to pay $1.99 a month to check them out.
