Season 9 of the role-playing game 'Diablo 3' is coming to an end. But fans, fret not, because a brand new Season 10 is on its heels.

Blizzard Entertainment, creator of "Diablo 3" and its two predecessors, confirmed that Season 9 will end on Mar. 17, 8 pm Eastern Time. Season 10, on the other hand, will begin on Mar. 31, 8 pm Eastern time, Mic wrote. Although players already know when next season starts, there is still no word how long it will last.

"Diablo 3" in-game seasons are always highly anticipated by players as new experiences, treasures and loot are included in each one. However, after a season's end, those who managed to make it to the top of the leaderboards will have their achievements rolled back. The same is true for the current one, Season 9, once it is over. Still, the leading players get another chance in the next one, just like they would in Season 10.

Fortunately for "Diablo 3" players, though, they get to keep everything they gained from Season 9, according to iDigitalTimes. Their experiences, gold, character gear, artisan levels, recipes and achievements will be carried over to Season 10. But those who chose to play Hardcore level will have a different set of rewards compared to those who played Normal level.

Furthermore, those characters that are able to reach level 70 during Season 9 (or any other season for that matter), will gain exclusive booty. These are a special chest and a transmogrification ability. And for "Diablo 3" fans who complete chapters, in Season 10 or in future seasons, will receive player portraits and a special cosmetic pet.

Unfortunately, "Diablo 3" players have nothing much to do after Season 9 ends. They will have to wait for two weeks to break out again their non-seasonal characters and crank up their game in Season 10.
