Singing sensation Lorde recently appeared in "Saturday Night Live" as a musical guest. She appeared in the skit "A Sketch for the Women" and performed two songs, "Green Light" and "Liability" from her new album "Melodrama". Meanwhile, Drake's new album "New Life" will be released in March 2017. The rapper revealed the four singles that fans can expect in the album.

On March 11, Lorde was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live". She performed "Green Light" and "Liability", two singles that are part of her new album, "Melodrama". According to Rolling Stone, the 20-year-old "Royals" singer opened her act with "Green Light" first. Then, she performed "Liability" dressed in a wedding dress for a more sparse and soulful rendition.

Lorde was also featured during the skit "A Sketch for the Women", where Beck Bennet and Kyle Mooney made a parody of her hit song "Royals". This wasn't the first time Lorde performed in "SNL" however. She sang with British duo Disclosure in November 2015, but she was not the main musical guest star during the time.

When asked about the muse for her new album, Lorde revealed that the inspiration was Rihanna's "Higher", which made her realize that it was important to love oneself because relationships don't always work and one should not wallow in self-pity after a breakup or heartache.

Lorde revealed that her album, "Melodrama", will be out on June 16. Before her album's release, though, music fans will get to listen to Drake's new LP, "New Life". It will be out on March 18, 2017 although it was supposed to be launched late last year. The date was pushed back, however, because of some production problems.

Drake dropped the news on Instagram a few days ago, much to the surprise of his loyal followers. According to Music Feeds, the new album will include the songs "Fake Love", "Two Birds One Stone", "Sneakin", and "Wanna Know You". Both Lorde and Drake's albums are highly anticipated this year and are expected to top the music charts again.
