Back in 2012, British boy band Union J joined the "X Factor" singing competition TV show. They didn't win, but they did take fourth place. After their success, the group, composed of four members released several singles and albums. Now, the group is preparing to launch a new album and a tour in the United States after their success in the UK.

Union J has just finished up their tour around the United Kingdom and the group is ready to release its newest album. One of the group's members, Josh Cuthbert, told CelebMix about their tour and new songs. Cuthbert expressed that their most memorable tour stop was the one in London, although he did say that they had a lot of fans up north. He also revealed that the group is working on a new single.

Their new album, meanwhile, will reveal a new kind of music for their fans. According to Union J, it will make people dance. Cuthbert also hinted that one of their inspirations for their songs is Justin Bieber's music. He also expressed interest in working with Ed Sheeran, one of the most influential singers in the UK. Although Union J is famous in Britain, the members hinted that they are planning a US tour soon.

Josh Cuthbert, Jaymi Hensley and JJ Hamblett started a trio, Triple J, in 2011. George Shelley joined them in 2012 when they participated in the "X Factor". Although they only came in fourth, their performances were highly applauded. Eventually, they signed a record deal with RCA Records as Union J. According to the Sun, their self-titled debut album, "Union J", made it to No. 6 in the United Kingdom Albums Chart.

They released another album, "You Got It All", in 2014 and it ranked No. 28. Union J encountered several problems like one member, George Shelley, leaving the band. He was eventually replaced by Casey Johnson a few months after. The group claimed that Shelley was not as committed to the band, but the singer hit back that his group mates were just jealous of his fame.

Aside from their tours and singles, Union J has made several TV show and film appearances. Recently, the members were seen on "Release the Hounds". The group also made an appearance in the movie "Kick-Ass 2" as popular teenage heartthrobs. They also signed a book deal with Penguin for the group's autobiography "Our Story: Union J 100% Official" in 2013.
