It has been recently reported that the "Shape of You" star Ed Sheeran has bought an Italian villa. He bought the villa that has a vineyard. Ed Sheeran revealed that he was looking for the Italian experience and wanted to steer clear of regions with lots of ex-pats, as per a report published in the Sun.  "I didn't want to buy in Tuscany because there are too many English people there", he said.

Located in Umbria, the region known for its beautiful hills, the villa is now owned by Ed Sheeran. Umbria is situated in central Italy, well known for prairies of wildflowers, earthy truffle mushrooms and, of course, full-bodied wines. While Ed Sheeran was there in Umbria, a 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit the region. The "Shape of You" singer revealed, "When the earthquake happened I was there and I felt it, but I'm not that close to where it happened."

Ed Sheeran's latest album "Divide" is already at the top position in Billboard top 200, followed by "Beauty and the Beast". He explained that he had never expected to have nine songs in the top 10 hits. Adding a hilarious side to his comments he exclaimed that something must have gone wrong, Mail Online reported.

Ed Sheeran's third album "Divide" sold around 672,000 copies in the very first week. Divide marked the singer's second straight Billboard 200 album, according to Rolling Stone. This has made a record of the fastest-selling album by a male artist in the UK ever - outselling the rest of the top 500 albums combined.

Following Ed Sheeran, Adele and Oasis's have sold around 800,000 and 696,000 copies respectively. At this year's Glastonbury, Ed will be performing the headline act, taking the Pyramid stage on June 25. He recently shared the news on Instagram and captioned it, "Can't Wait."
