‘The Originals’ Season 4 Spoilers: Showrunner Talks Hope; Teases Character Death [STREAM]

Fans are in for a lot of surprises and shocking twists when "The Originals" Season 4 returns on Friday. Showrunner Michael Narducci has recently explained how Hope will affect the storyline moving forward. He also teased an upcoming character death.

In a sit down with TV Line, Narducci explained that Hope (Summer Fontanta is the source of the Mikaelsons' "inspiration" and "redemption." When Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) reunited, some fans speculated that Hope may come in between. However, the latest "The Originals" Season 4 spoilers tease that she will actually bring people together.

Fans have also been wondering what the sigils mean and how they are related to the plot of "The Originals" Season 4. Michael Narducci went on to explain that Hope's drawings, which were also popping up all around New Orleans, were the key to a secret. It remains to be seen how Hope's sigils that appear as graffiti in town will answer the questions of the season.

In the recap of Episode 1 from Entertainment Weekly, it is noted that Vincent's (Yusuf Gatewood) son is missing. In relation to the disappearance of his son, Vincent sets off to find the serpent sigil that everyone in town is confused about. "The Originals" Season 4 spoilers suggest that Hope may be unintentionally bringing the sigils about.

Meanwhile, Michael Narducci also teased that a character death may be possible in upcoming episodes of "The Originals" Season 4. The showrunner was asked if Klaus (Joseph Morgan) would kill Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) as soon as he is freed. Narducci said this is possible but Marcel has become someone who isn't easy to destroy.
