Summer will be a lot of fun for "Valkyria Chronicles" fans as the second game for the "Valkyria" franchise is coming in the United States and Europe. "Valkyria Revolution" will be coming late June this year and it houses a lot of new features that would surely excite fans. It will be available both on physical CD and digital download.

According to PlayStation Blog, "Valkyria Revolution" is coming to America on June 7. It is to be followed by European release after three days, on June 30. The blog highlights that the game title might be taken quite literally as this game is a revolution from previous Valkyria games.

To clarify things, "Valkyria Revolution" will not be a sequel to "Valkyria Chronicles" and it is better to call it a spinoff. The game will have a different world, timeline, and characters from its predecessors but core similarities like the mineral ragnite and legendary beings of Valkyria will be on the spinoff. The game will be focusing on the war of liberation and is inspired by the European industrial revolution.

According to PlayStation Universe, there will be pre-order perks available for those who made physical game preorder from Europe and America. Players who preordered will receive a bonus 12-tracj soundtrack which is composed by Yasunori Mitsuda who previously worked in Chrono Trigger and Stella Glow. There will also be a bonus bold pin inscribed with the Vanargand's coat of arms. Vanargand Edition is limited so it is suggested to order "Valkyria Revolution" as early as now. The game can be bought for £34.99 or roughly $44.

The battle system has a faster pace making the game more exciting. New features such as new soundtracks and new weapon upgrade system will separate "Valkyria Revolution" from the other Valkyria games. The game will also have a "canvas" feel on it thanks to GOUACHE rendering engine.
