Lisa Lampanelli, of Celebrity Apprentice, celebrated a year of being a 'skinny b****' on April 9 after losing 106 pounds through gastric-sleeve surgery.

The comedian used to refer to herself as a 'fat chick,' however, after a year of maintaining a slimmer body type she says she's officially a 'skinny b****,' according to OMG! from Yahoo.

Lampanelli came clean about her gastric-sleeve surgery last year saying that it helped her to lose an initial 80 pounds, followed by additional weight lost post-surgery, according to OMG!

"I've lost a total of 106 pounds," Lampanelli, told In Touch Weekly during an interview on Thursday.  "I feel like I've reached the weight I'm supposed to be."  She has been maintaining a weight of 142 pounds since April 9 of last year.

She told the magazine that she credits the maintenance of her new thin frame to exercise and portion control.  She also explained that the surgery isn't a miracle cure for overeaters.  "I have to figure out my addiction issue and how I even got overweight in the first place," Lampanelli said.

However, maintaining a healthy weight seems to be worth the trouble for her.  "One of the best parts of losing weight has been the clothing!" Lampanelli told In Touch.  "I roll up to Macy's and go to the sales rack and see how much I can get for as little amount of money! It's almost like a game for me!"

Lampanelli spoke about her struggles with her weight before her surgery on "The Dr. Oz Show," in October 2012, according to OMG!  "I tried every single thing imaginable -- diet, exercise. I even bought a house on the health spa property and I still gained weight.  For 32 years, from 18 to 50, I tried everything on the planet, and once I had a clean slate with that I said, 'You know what? Nothing's working for me. I'm going to treat this like the addiction that it is. I'm going to get this surgery and use it as a tool. That's all it is, a tool to help me get over it," she said.

Now that she's a 'skinny b****,' Lampanelli jokes about her weight-loss, rather than about begin heavy, according to UPI.  "See me Saturday in Rochester, MN at the Mayo Civic Center. Way better than where I used to hang out: the Mayo AISLE!" she tweeted on Wednesday.
