A theory suggests that "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will reveal Supreme Leader Snoke's identity. The villain is supposedly the result of a failed attempt to create human life and could be the twin of Anakin Skywalker.

Ever since his appearance in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" fans have been curious about Supreme Leader Snoke and whether "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will reveal his backstory. Various theories have sprung up about his identity that relates back to the Star Wars lore. According to Digital Spy, he could be the evil twin of Anakin Skywalker.

The publication credited a Reddit user who claimed that "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will explain Supreme Leader Snoke's history. He existed during the reign of Darth Plagueis and is said to be the failed result of the sith's attempt to create a human life. This would explain why Snoke has a special facial appearance because The Force had pushed back on his creation.

Palpatine learned about Supreme Leader Snoke's existence and so he tried to kill him. Palpatine reportedly wanted to eliminate Snoke because he does not want a rival for Anakin Skywalker. However, he failed and Snoke was able to escape the empire. This is where "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will reportedly reveal where he has been hiding until he found Kylo Ren.

It is believed that Supreme Leader Snoke and Anakin Skywalker were created at the same time. The Force created Anakin, who later became Darth Vader, as retaliation for Darth Plagueis' transgressions. According to The Express, Anakin will appear as a Force Ghost in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."

It is interesting to point out that there have been reports on Hayden Christensen appearing at the Star Wars Celebration later this month. He will reportedly join the panel, which only fuels the theory that Anakin Skywalker will reveal details about Supreme Leader Snoke's identity in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
