As fans continue to wait for news on the premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 8, fans are wondering if the return of an already dead character is still possible. It appears that nothing is impossible, especially with Maggie's close birth call.

In a sit down with TV Line, executive producer Scott Gimple revealed that there is a chance Glenn (Steven Yeun) will appear in the upcoming installment of "The Walking Dead." As fans know very well, Glenn was killed in the premiere of Season 7. It remains to be seen how his appearance will be pulled off.

However, Gimple explained that Glenn can still appear through a vision or a flashback. This is because Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is close to giving birth and there is a chance Glenn will appear in the form of a flashback as Maggie delivers their child. On the other hand, Gimple noted that the birth of Maggie's child may not be very soon as expected.

In the pilot episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Glenn and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) were killed by Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The latter bashed their brains out with his infamous baseball bat named Lucille. It seemed to be the end of their appearances on the hit series.

Still, fans are looking forward to the potential return of fan-loved character Glenn. TV Guide suggests that seeing Glenn through a vision or flashback at this time may be too painful for Maggie to bear. "The Walking Dead" is known for showing scenes of no mercy. On the other hand, things may be lighter on Maggie this time.

As for Eugene (Josh McDermitt), there's debate all over social media regarding his supposed betrayal of Rick (Andrew Lincoln). According to Screen Rant, it appears that the former loyal friend of Rick is enjoying the power that Negan has given him. Will he be the next villain in "The Walking Dead" Season 8?

AMC has yet to officially announce when "The Walking Dead" Season 8 will premiere. Stay tuned for more news and updates on the series.
