Kate Bush is unlikely to join Coachella 2017. Goldenvoice CEO Paul Tollett says no in booking the "Don't Give Up" singer.

In an interview with The New Yorker, Marc Geiger of W.M.E shared his working method with Paul Tollett. The pair discusses which artist to book but the latter has the last say.

"I'll say, 'Kate Bush!' And he'll go, 'No!,' and we'll talk through it.," Geiger said. "I'll say, 'She's never played here, and she just did thirty shows in the U.K. for the first time since the late seventies. You gotta do it! Have to!' 'No! No one is going to understand it.'"

Paul Tollett has a knack for big statement for Coachella 2017. He is leaning heavily on Beyonce. For his first-time bookings, he limits the audience to only 200 on Gobi, the smallest stage, so they can have the show of their lives.

Well, Paul Tollett's saying "no" to booking Kate Bush will not probably hurt the "Wuthering Heights" songstress because according to her spokesperson she has no intentions of playing Coachella because she has no plans in playing any more shows after her appearance in London. Her spokesperson also clears the issues that Bush was rejected in the event because there was no discussion in the first place.

"The show was conceived for a very specific type of venue. No discussions were ever had with Kate about playing any festival, including Coachella," he spokesperson told The Guardian.

Kate Bush had 22 shows in London back in 2014. Those shows were her first live performance since1979. It was later chronicled on her live album "Before the Dawn." The singer has never performed in the United States and has not performed anywhere since 2014.
