Woods have a new upcoming album, which will be out this month. For those who can't wait for it the band shares one of the songs on their track list titled "Bleeding Blue."

According to NPR, Woods' "Bleeding Blue" sounds as if it was written on the morning after the election. "The city's not sleeping in today / Have you heard the news? / Hate can't lose," the lyrics goes.

However, Jeremy Earl later realized that it is better to focus on love. "I heard a voice inside me say / If we want love, hate can't stay." The lyrics are accompanied by a majestic trumpet line.

Woods has made uplifting music but "Bleeding Blue" holds a unique positivity that the band has not previously visited. The song is heartening and therapeutic, especially for those who are greatly affected by the results of the last election.

Woods' will be releasing their album "Love is Love" on April 21. Prior to sharing "Bleeding Blue," the band has shared its album's title "Love Is Love," Under The Radar reported.

Aside from the upcoming album, Woods will have a North American tour. The band will be on the road for two months and will be having 20 stops. Their first stop will be at The Telegraph Ballroom in Los Angeles on May 8. They will culminate the tour on July 15 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York.

NPR notes that Woods had no plans of releasing a new music in 2017 after the success of their album "City Sun Eater In The River Of Light" last year. However, the band changed their mind following the National Election in 2016.

"There will be parts of life where we will watch as events unfold and we will feel helpless," music writer Sam Hockley-Smith said about the album, Tiny Mix Tapes noted. "On good days, we'll have each other. On the bad ones, we'll turn to the art that helps us feel something."
