DJ Khaled’s son Asahd is only five months old but he is already considered a superstar in the music world. He is in the cover of the latest issue of XXL Magazine with his dad and has almost 500K Instagram followers. In the accompanying interview for the mag, Khaled talks about fatherhood, family and bringing his loved ones into the music business. After all, he just made his little kid the executive producer of his new album “Grateful,” which is scheduled to drop this summer.

Speaking of “Grateful,” it appears that DJ Khaled has gotten his wish to feature Drake in the album according to MTV. He had not been exactly quiet in social media for Drake, who recently broke the record for most streams in a day in Spotify, to put in his vocals for the album. Last April 12, he posted several photos of him and Drizzy together taking a break from recording and crediting him as one of the many collaborators in the album.

In one of the photos, DJ Khaled and Drake smiling in what seems to be a candid shot inside a recording studio reports XXL Magazine. In another, they appeared to be the opposite as they look serious and contemplating on something while sitting around in a circle. In the last photo which Khaled posted, he is seen holding Drizzy’s shoes from his recently unveiled OVO Jordan 8 “CALIPARI PACK” Kentucky Blues.

Meanwhile, the last post of DJ Khaled was a video of him and Drake having a laugh about Drizzy finally being available to put the vocals in the new dad’s new album. Khaled can also be seen holding Drizzy’s new kicks. The duo are presumably trying to duplicate the success of their hit “For Free” from Khaled’s last album, “Major Key.” From all the excitement preceding the recording session, it looks like one musical collaboration worth looking forward to.
