'Jurassic World 2' Lead Actor Chris Pratt Hints At Scarier, Darker, Unexpected Sequel

On Wednesday, the lead cast of the upcoming films "Jurassic World 2" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," Chris Pratt, dropped a major hint about the upcoming sequel to "Jurassic World" that was released in 2015.

The 37-year-old "Passengers" actor was attending a press outing for his latest film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," when he was asked to reveal something about "Jurassic World 2." The actor just described the sequel to the 2015 hit as "scarier, darker and unexpected," reported Screen Rant.

This reply by Pratt has left the "Jurassic World 2" has left fans thinking about what they could see in the upcoming sequel. The lead actor did not reveal anything about the plot or his character but rather gave an insight into the darker storyline of "Jurassic World 2." Pratt also talked about the film's director J.A. Boyana and called him a remarkable filmmaker who is visually masterful.

Pratt further added that "Jurassic World 2" will be a scarier version of "Jurassic World" and it will expand and carry the story forward. But the twist is that the story in the sequel will turn out to be unexpected and unimaginable, he added, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Pratt who started in "Jurassic World" released in 2015 is coming back as Owen Grady in the upcoming "Jurassic World 2" that is expected to be released in the latter half of 2018. Pratt plays the character of a dinosaur trainer and researcher in the park.

In the latter half of the last year, "Jurassic World 2" director Boyana too had expressed and described the sequel as "darker" and "shocking" without leaking any details about the movie plot and characters. Chris Pratt's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to be released in North America on May 5, 2017, and his upcoming "Jurassic World 2" is expected to be released on June 22, 2018.
