"Pokemon Stars" hints on fire as a new Pokemon merchandise was released in Japan. The merch tells fans to "look upon the stars", which was presumed to be a hint of the upcoming Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch.

There will be a new Pokemon Merchandise that will be available for Japan in a couple of weeks. The merchandise is a collection titled "Look Upon the Stars", as reported by Polygon. The collection is a tribute for Cosmog, one of the legendary monsters in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon". The merch includes a plush Cosmog and Lillie's bag. But for some fans, it is the confirmation that they're waiting for "Pokemon Stars".

Ever since the first occurrence of the game name "Pokemon Stars" just after "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" launch, rumors were already flying all around. It was then rumored that the "Pokemon Stars" will ve a director's cut version of the 3DS games. When Nintendo Switch came around, rumors are again aboard the rumor train, with so many fans speculating that the third game of the seventh Pokemon generation will be ported to Nintendo Switch.

Though "Pokemon Stars" could happen anytime for the 3DS, the Nintendo Switch launch could not happen this year, as reported by Forbes. It doesn't mean that Nintendo Switch launch of the game is not possible, it will just take more time to be completed. One critical factor is the 3DS's two screened user interface. So far, the two screened user interface is a way to make the user experience more "neat".

If "Pokemon Stars" would be ported to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo would have to develop another GUI that will fit Switch's screen. It would be just like a new game, and will not look like a "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" sequel.
