It's been two long years since Miley Cyrus released her album "Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz" in 2015. However, the "Climb" singer is now making a comeback with her new single "Malibu."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer is now preparing for her official music return in the worldwide television premiere of her highly expected new single "Malibu." The song already debuted on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, E! News reported.

"Hannah Montana" will be performing this year's Billboard Music Awards. The singer/actress announced the good news last Wednesday, May 10 together with the promo teaser about her soon to be released single.

The "We Can't Stop" songstress will be performing together with Ed Sheeran, Drake, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Florida Georgina Line, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, Lorde and John Legend. The 2017 Billboard Music Awards will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a live broadcast on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 21.

"Miley Cyrus is and always has been an artist that makes an impact. Her amazing talent and impressive pledge on pop culture are undeniable," Mark Bracco, executive producer of the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to have her debut 'Malibu' at the '2017 Billboard Music Awards' and look forward to a raw and honest performance that will likely surprise many."

In other news, Miley Cyrus revealed that her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth inspired her music. While they are prepping for their upcoming wedding, the pair is spotted from time to time enjoying their solo time together.

On Tuesday, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth went to Downtown Los Angeles' Ace to watch Wayne Coyne's band, Flaming Lips. Miley nearly broke into a sprint to get inside to see her longtime friend and collaborator Coyne while Liam dutifully followed behind. While it was a date night, the singer joined other friends at the side of the stage so she could have a good view.
