A timeline has already been set for "Fairy Tail." Fans are starting to get emotional after news broke about the series' end. The question is, when will the series end and what's next for the creator?

According to Crunchyroll, series creator Hiro Mashima recently confirmed that "Fairy Tail" will come to an end soon. He said the franchise will be completed "in about 2 more volumes." This means that fans will need to pour out their support to the series before it comes to an end.

Fans and viewers have been getting emotional since the statement of Mashima was released earlier this month. Since the creator did not give any end date in particular, it is not clear when "Fairy Tail" will end. On the other hand, others are providing theories about the specific end of the hit anime and manga series.

There are currently 8 or 9 chapters in every volume of "Fairy Tail." This could mean that there are only 20 chapters or less left in the franchise. One chapter is most likely completed within a week. If the timeline given by Hiro Mashima is correct, there could be five months left for fans to watch and read the series.

Comic Book notes that numerous "Fairy Tail" fans are broken-hearted over the news. However, Mashima also revealed in his recent statement that he is ready to work on a new project. This could mean that he is preparing something big for fans even if his hit franchise will end probably this year.

It is unclear if Hiro Mashima will really end "Fairy Tail" in five months. Fans will have to wait for further news regarding this issue. On the other hand, fans should also look forward to the new project from the creator.

"Fairy Tail" appeared in the Weekly Shonen Magazine Aug. 2, 2006. It was later adapted into an anime and since then, there have been 250 episodes. Stay tuned for more news and updates on the franchise.
