Jessica Alba has been posting street fighter-related photos  to her Instagram account since early April, as part of a popular trend.

This trend is part of a meme inspired by Japanese schoolgirls, in which people pose for photos as if they were carrying out special-effect attacks on opponents in a video game, OMG from Yahoo! reports.

Although she has posted a number of different photos like this, it is widely agreed that Alba's most successful attempt occurred in April when she posed with her husband, Cash Warren.  In the photo Alba appears to be flying backwards as Warren performs Ryu's iconic 'Hadouken' attack.  The photo was captioned 'What u know 'bout #HADOKEN -full credit goes 2 @cash_warren & @justincoit,' referencing the professional photographer who snapped the photo, Justin Coit.

Alba has posted four more Hadouken photos on May 14th with varying degrees of success, according to OMG!  It is obvious that she is getting very into this trend, bringing in family, friends and co-workers in order to try to pull off the shots.  You have to admire her energy and devotion, at the very least.

In other news, Alba will soon be starting to promote her new films, Robert Rodriguez' 'Machine Kills', and 'Sin City: A Girl to Kill For,' the Inquisitr reports.  Both films are expected to appear in theaters later on this year.
