Cher Announces New Album For September, New Single Next Month

Cher has announced that she will be releasing a new album in September with the first single dropping sometime next month via Twitter.

The woman who is singlehandedly responsible for Autotune being a thing that people use revealed the news in an uncharacteristically coherent tweet.

"OH ! BTW...Been spending my time between MANAGING MOM,getting ready 4 Russia & Ahhh... Oh Yes!! MY CAREER ! Single June,CD 1st wk in Sept!" she wrote.

According to Idolator, the album is rumored to have a duet Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters, a song with Lady Gaga, a Timbaland collaboration and several songs written by Pink.
