‘The Voice’ 2013 Recap: Top 8 Results Show, Two Season 4 Contestants Eliminated, One Team Adam Levine Singer Left, Blake Shelton Dominating

"The Voice" narrowed its Season 4 Top 8 to a Top 6 during Tuesday's somewhat shocking results show that saw the elimination of two members of Team Adam Levine.

Judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton had three contestants apiece remaining in the Top 8, but Blake has now taken over the competition as his team makes up half of the Top 6.

The first four contestants who advanced to next week, in no particular order, were:

Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake)

Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher)

Sasha Allen (Team Shakira)

The Swon Brothers (Team Blake)

That left Amber Carrington, Holly Tucker, Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons in danger. America elected to save:

Amber Carrington (Team Adam)

Holly Tucker (Team Blake)

The two contestants eliminated were:

Judith Hill (Team Adam)

Sarah Simmons (Team Adam)

The rest of the broadcast featured four duets from the Top 8 singers. Michelle and Judith worked together on Calvin Harris' and Florence Welch's "Sweet Nothing" and their voices blended well throughout the radio hit.

Sasha and The Swon Brothers crooned Kelly Clarkson's and Jason Aldean's "Don't You Wanna Stay" but somehow the country singers struggled to find a comfort with each other and the performance suffered as a result.

Danielle and Sarah joined forces for Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" and delivered a strong rendition, while Amber and Holly finished things off with perhaps the best performance of the night when they sang Reba McEntire and Linda Davis' "Does He Love You?"

The Top 6 will perform next Monday and the show will eliminate two more contestants to reach a Top 4 next Tuesday.
