'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Season 9 Trailers [VIDEOS]: The 'IASIP' Gang Releases Swedish-Language, Artsy Promos for September FXX Premiere
"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is definitely one of the stranger situational comedies on television today, so when it comes to promoting the show we should expect nothing but the strangest teasers. Two seasons ago, the gang made some dramatic promos for the upcoming season and last season they decided to take an Anime-styled approach. Perhaps trying to top it all, Dee, Mac, Dennis, Frank and Charlie have now appeared in some interesting Swedish-language art house trailers that definitely say very little about the upcoming season. The ninth season will be airing in September on the new FXX channel.
Though these trailers do not really show us what we should expect from season 9 of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," there are a few things that have been reported. For one, "Breaking Bad" star and Emmy Award-winning actor Aaron Paul is set to guest star in an episode this season. Plus, the showrunners for HBO's "Game of Thrones, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, have written an episode for this season. Whether or not these two pieces of information involve the same episode is not known, but that could be interesting. Either way, just these two bits of news are reason enough to tune in to the popular, bizarre comedy.
So do you want to see Mac say "Hoss" is Swedish? Or see the whole gang say very awkward statements in Swedish? Check out the extremely weird and seemingly artsy promo teaser trailers for the ninth season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" right here:
