Director Bryan Singer has been filling his Twitter account with exclusive set photos while filming X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is hitting theaters in 2014. Though his photo updates come randomly, they always come with pretty great revelations. For instance, Singer posted photos of Jennifer Lawrence in her Mystique body suit and paint; he announced castings with pictures of the actors being cast, and also just confirmed the return of Lucas Till as Havok. Till had been rumored to be returning after fans saw the young actor in Canada, near the set and posted photos online. Now the director himself has confirmed the reprisal. What else did Singer reveal?

Lucas Till joins the long list of returning actors including James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan (to name a few).

Check out Singer's other recent Twitter post featuring Fassbender as Magneto, seemingly levitating:

Another cast member who is new to the crew is "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage. For quite some time, the actor was rumored to be playing Bolivar Trask, a villain from the Marvel Comics series that plans to kill off all mutants. Clearly the antagonist of this story, this rumor has been confirmed with another casting as well. The recently cast Josh Helman will be portraying Bill Stryker (previously played by Brian Cox and Danny Huston), adding to the villain list.

In addition to this cast and character news, Vulture recently got its hands on the synopsis for Days of Future Past. Though the official plot points and storylines will possibly be revealed at the 2103 Comic Con, this synopsis does at least seem to be correct and definitely ties in all of the characters well.

In Singer's take, Ellen Page returns as Kitty from the Brett Ratner-directed X-Men: The Last Stand, but this time she uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future.

Do you think this is the real plot for 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past?
