Sharknado Sequel Will Nom-Nom New York City, Fans Can Name SyFy Movie Through Twitter
Residents of the American coast were shocked when, through the flukiest of weather phenomena, a tornado formed off the coast of California and managed to pick up an entire school of sharks who all just happened to be hungry for human flesh. They never thought it would HAPPEN AGAIN.
The SyFy network confirmed that another cyclone of sea monsters would be hitting the country, but this time it will flood the streets of New York City. The metropolis, which is still shook up from getting hit by Hurricane Sandy, a storm that only brought wind and water, will probably openly weep about a multitude of deadly sharks thrown into the mix.
"Every once in a while, there is a perfect storm - on television. The fans are clamoring for a sequel. Or perhaps it will be a prequel," said executive vice president of programming Thomas Vitale. "What we can guarantee is that Sharknado 2 will be lots of fun. We'll be announcing more details very soon. But we didn't want our fans to worry they wouldn't get their fill of more shark fin, I mean, fun next year."
The best part of the deal: Fans have the opportunity to come up with the name of the sequel by tweeting @SyFyMovies with the hashtag #Sharknado. Some of the best we've seen so far:

My suggestion: "Sharknado 2: The City That Never Sleeps (Because, you know, sharks can't sleep because if they stop swimming they drown)." And yes, that whole parenthetical statement will be included in the title.
The suggestion of my office partner Jon "Union Jack" Niles: "Sharknado 2: Die Harder," with the stipulation that Bruce Willis stars in the lead role.
