One Direction & The Wanted Collaboration? Britain's Biggest Boy Bands Ready to Work Together 'For Charity,' Feuding Pop Groups Singing Different Tune?

Last time anybody checked, One Direction and The Wanted were in a strangely heated feud over something or other, probably just because they are both British boy bands. Homophobic slurs and brawl threats aside, it looks like at least one of these young men is saying there is no feud and that a charity song could be in the works!

According to Nathan Sykes of The Wanted, there is definitely no rivalry between the pop bands and that putting out a charity record together could be a great and easy way to raise money.

"I think it's very expected from the media always trying to put two bands together and trying to start a rivalry," Sykes said. "We have no issue with them whatsoever."

He added: "They are great lads who've stayed true to their sound so far in their career. I think the collaboration between the two bands could generate a lot of cash maybe and we would actually be willing to do it for charity."

Would you be interested in a One Direction and The Wanted collaboration for charity? Or maybe this is just a weird ploy by The Wanted to finally corner One Direction into a fight like they have often challenged them to? Who's to say what this really is.

Just last year, Sykes was singing a different tune about Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn.

"If you look at One Direction's chart position and then look at ours, they're not really even our rivals," he said at the time. "They have different fans to us. We don't want their fans, they're too young. We laugh and say that their fans are our fans' younger sisters."

Not exactly harsh, but still not exactly nice. But perhaps this feud is really over and we could be getting a charity collaboration sometime in the near future!
