Lady Gaga 'Saturday Night Live' Appearance? 'Applause' Singer Rumored to Host and Perform on Upcoming Episode of NBC Sketch Show, Join Likes of Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift [VIDEO]
Is Lady Gaga slated to be on "Saturday Night Live" this fall? It'd be no surprise if the "Applause" singer performed on the NBC sketch comedy show, seeing as how she did so in 2009 and 2011. However, rumors are spreading that Gaga will not only perform on an upcoming episode of "SNL" but will pull hosting duties, as well!
According to TV Line, Gaga is set to host and perform on an episode this fall in order to promote her third studio album "Artpop." Though representatives from "SNL" could not confirm the performance because the fall schedule is still being finalized, that doesn't stop the rumors from flying!
As previously mentioned, Gaga is no stranger to the "Saturday Night Live" stage. In '09, she performed "Paparazzi" and a medley of other "The Fame" singles. She returned to "SNL" in 2011 to play "The Edge of Glory," "Judas" and "Born This Way." She also joined Justin Timberlake in one of his famous "ville" sketches, "Liquorville."

She also joined Ryan Reynolds in 2009 for a MTV4 sketch, which put her up against Madonna, proving that she may just have what it takes to both host and be the musical guest on "SNL."
Gaga wouldn't be the first musician to pull double-duty on "SNL" by any means, even in recent years. Justin Bieber and Timberlake both performed and hosted on the show's last season. Mick Jagger and Taylor Swift have also hosted and performed during the same episode in recent years.
