MGMT New Album Release September 17: WATCH 'Your Life Is A Lie' Video, Teaser Trailer, Full Album Stream Available Online

MGMT's new 2013 album has a release date of September 17, but the band streamed their new album through Rdio a week early. Their self-titled third album is only a few days away, but according to The Verge, subscribers to Rdio can stream the full album and watch the video for the song "Optimizer." Following their hits like "Electric Feel," "Kids," and "Time to Pretend" the band will have big expectations going into their latest album. However the duo of Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden seem up to the task.

According to NME, it sounds like MGMT wasn't overly impressed with some of the other musical artists they have been meeting since becoming a big act. "So many musicians have this really commercial sensibility about everything," Ben Goldwasser said via NME. "That made me really disgusted. Looking at music as a product, talking about what we were doing like a brand? We had never thought about music that way." Don't expect the band to sell out and go main stream with their musical choices anytime soon.

MGMT released a video for their new single "Your Life Is A Lie" back in August. You can listen to the single and check out the video below.

The band has also released a couple other videos that may interest fans. On their website, whoismgmt.com, the band released a teaser video for their new album, as well as a behind-the-scenes video of the music video for "Your Live Is A Lie." You can watch them both below!
