Ariana Grande may be one of the biggest rising stars in pop and R&B, but that doesn't mean she's forgetting her roots. The "Baby I" singer has started a new viral video series on her YouTube account, #LullabyFriday, wherein she will sing covers of slow songs to help her dedicated Arianator fanbase fall asleep.

"Starting a new thing where every Friday night I'm going to post a video to my youtube of me singing something lullaby like... posting 1 now," Grande announced on her Twitter account last night (Sept. 26).

Using the hashtag #lullabyfriday, Grande posted a cover of Connie Francis' "Where The Boys Are" on her YouTube.

Through a black and white filter, Grande softly sings the 1961 hit. It's an intimate setting, clearly shot in Grande's bedroom as she casually wears a long-sleeved T-shirt.

Adding to the intimacy of the performance, halfway through "Where The Boys Are," Grande has to quickly Google the lyrics. It's a quirky moment and adds realness to her personality.

Despite the intimate homemade video, Grande is having a whirlwind September. Her debut album, "Yours Truly" got rave reviews and shot to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release. Additionally, she dropped the '90s-inspired music video for the album's latest single "Baby I."

Grande's personal life is also on the up. After weeks of speculation, she finally confirmed that she's dating The Wanted member Nathan Sykes on Sept. 24.
