The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup series continues today with the Dover AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. The race begins Sunday afternoon at 2pm ET in Dover, Delaware. With just eight races remaining the chase for the Sprint Cup is heating up. Going into this weekend's race Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the pole race and goes into the race in the number one position. Beginning the race Dale Earnhardt Jr. has the first position followed by Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, Carl Edwards, and Aric Almirola. Other notable starts include Danica Patrick starting in the 31 position, Jeff Gordon starting 16th, and Kyle Busch starting in 14th. The Sprint Cup is still up for grabs, which should make today's race a good one. Matt Kenseth is in first place in the Sprint Cup standings going into Sunday's race with a narrow lead over Kyle Busch. Close behind Busch is Jimmie Johnson in third place, Carl Edwards in fourth, and Greg Biffle in fifth place.
