South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Missouri Tigers LIVE STREAM: Where to Watch, Preview, Odds, TV Schedule, Prediction
The No. 21 South Carolina Gamecocks head to Missouri to face the No. 5 ranked Tigers in a big SEC matchup for both teams. The Gamecocks are coming off a tough loss to the Tennessee Volunteers last week, which dropped them to 5-2 on the season. If Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks can't figure out a way to defeat the Tigers then say goodbye to a top-25 ranking. With a win Saturday night, the Tigers will all but lock up the top spot in the SEC East Division. Game time is 7pm ET and the game will be broadcast on ESPN 2 and will be available on WATCHESPN online for fans that want to watch the live stream.
Despite losing quarterback James Franklin to an injury a couple weeks ago, Maty Mauk has stepped in and done a nice job leading the eighth ranked offense in the country. The Tigers are averaging over 44 points per game while sending out a balanced rushing and pashing attack. The Tigers average 279 yards passing per game and over 234 yards rushing. Of course, Mauk will have to keep an eye on the Gamecocks Jadeveon Clowney who looked more like himself last week against Tennessee.
A big issue going into tonight's game for the Gamecocks, will be the play of their own second string quarterback, Dylan Thompson. Connor Shaw likely will need to sit out Saturday's game, leaving Thompson the task of keeping up with the Tigers high scoring offense.
With South Carolina's backs up against the wall in this game, you can't count them out. However, without Shaw at quarterback and the Tigers on a roll, I just don't see the Gamecocks being able to win this game. OddsShark had Missouri as a 2.5-point favorite at the opening. Don't forget you can watch the game on ESPN 2 on TV or follow the game online on WATCHESPN.
