Mike Will Made It drops 'Whippin' A Brick' off 'Mike Will Been Trill' Mixtape

In a bid to become 2013's DJ Khaled, Mike Will Made It is releasing a new mixtape titled Mike WILL Been Trill. The star-studded tape, which will drop in December, features appearances from 2 Chainz, Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, Juicy J, Ciara, *pauses for breath*, Schoolboy Q, Future, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and Jeezy.

On top of all that, we have Wiz Khalifa and Migos guest-starring on the first single off Trill, "Whippin' A Brick." Mike Will released the song on Soundcloud along with an album teaser on Instagram. Check it out below:

While the song is passable and likely would've made more sense as a late October release (those string synths are straight John Carpenter), this is hinestly the first time I've heard a Mike Will beat and not been impressed. This sounds like it was lifted directly from Flockaveli with no added thought. Even "23" had that awesome "about to die in a video game" whistle over the top. This is pure boilerplate and, let's face it, neither Migos nor 2013 Wiz are strong enough rappers to carry this weak track.
