Lauren Conrad plans dream wedding to William Tell

Former Hills sweetheart Lauren Conrad has displayed her...perhaps workaholic yet very put-together nature with all of the projects she's completed or launched since the MTV show ended-i.e. being an author, blogger and designer, all at the age of 27. With that in mind, it's no surprise that she is planning her big day with William Tell in detail and not rushing into anything.

"She wants to take her time and enjoy the process," a friend told Us Weekly. Another friend added: "Lauren would like to get married next year, possible in the early fall."

Tell, 33, is the former guitarist for Something Corporate, so apparently he will be in charge of music for the event. He is currently attending law school at the University of Southern California. The proposal just happened on Oct. 12, so they have plenty of time to plan.

Conrad is apparently beginning to look through bridal magazines. She has the bridal bug but isn't taking it too far...yet. A friend told Us, "She's not going to be a bridezilla!" She might not be a bridezilla, but it's hard to imagine Conrad not wanting to have a lot of creative control over the event, rightfully so. She's qualified for the job.

The reality show star recently guest-edited the fall 2013 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, so chances are she's in the right mindset for this next chapter in her life. But unlike the previous years when the camera was there, front and center to document her love life, Conrad  told Us, "Everything is healthier without cameras around." She has sworn off having TV be a part of anything involving her personal life.
