Talk has circulated on the Internet for months about Bill Goldberg's potential return to WWE, specifically for a match at WrestleMania 30 in April. The two sides have yet to come to an official deal, but Goldberg himself reportedly commented on a possible return recently.

The Wrestling Observer reports that Goldberg was at C4 Comic Con in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and was asked about possibly returning to WWE. He replied that he would be interested in going back to the company because he wants his son to be able to see him wrestle one more time. He also added that he has spoken to Triple H a few times about coming back, but no deal is in place.

Furthermore, Goldberg's financial requirements for a return are reportedly very high, and the former WCW Champion would only come back for the right price. According to the report, Goldberg said that he would not contact WWE about returning and that they would have to be the ones to reach out to him if they really want him.

Finally, he reportedly said that WWE tried to lure him back by asking him to think of the pop he would get if he returned. But Goldberg seems to feel that that's not the best tactic to bring him back and that it would all come down to money.

Goldberg's last match in WWE was the infamous bout with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20. Fans knew that Goldberg and Lesnar were about to leave the company and that this would be their last match, so they berated the two competitors throughout the fight.
