'Fast and Furious' Wheel of Fortune puzzle 'unfortunate coincidence' following Paul Walker's death [WATCH]: Host Pat Sajak tweets 'feel terrible about timing' [VIDEO]

On Saturday (Nov. 30), actor Paul Walker passed away in a tragic car crash. A few days later, the hit game show Wheel of Fortune featured this "movie title" puzzle:

This episode aired on Monday evening (Dec. 2).

Definitely poor timing. The network acknowledged this fact with a scroll running across the top of the screen. The message said:

"This episode was taped a few weeks ago, prior to the tragic passing of 'The Fast and The Furious' actor Paul Walker."

Game show host Pat Sajak later tweeted:

@patsajak: "Feel terrible about timing of "Fast & Furious" puzzle tonight. Taped long ago & went out to 200 local stations days ago."

The official Wheel of Fortune Twitter account also tweeted:

‏@WheelofFortune: "The show that included the puzzle "The Fast and The Furious" was taped on 10/4/13. It's an unfortunate coincidence that it aired tonight... The hearts of everyone at Wheel of Fortune go out to the family, friends & fans of Paul Walker."
