American Horror Story Coven spoilers on Queenie's fate and more

American Horror Story: Coven aired its final episode of 2013 on Wednesday night and, in typical Coven fashion, it featured numerous deaths and other twisted scenes.

One of the most shocking moments occurred when Cordelia's husband the witch hunter broke into Marie Laveau's salon and shot a bunch of people, including Queenie. But the human voodoo doll made sure to get even by firing a bullet through her own head to take out the man. But is she really dead?

That's the question that E! Online asked Queenie's portrayer, Gabourey Sidibe, in the aftermath of Wednesday's episode. Here's what the Oscar-nominated actress had to say:

"So, are you dead? Nobody stays dead on this show, though. There are ghosts and what not.
Yeah, I mean at the very least I can confirm that I definitely got shot in two different places. [Laughs.] The way they treat death on this show, it's so odd. I could be dead, I could not be dead. It's one of those things.

Right, it's like 'Wow, a big death! ... Or was it?'
Or was it? And then there's a huge dun, dun DUNNNNNNN at the end of every episode."

Few characters ever stay dead on American Horror Story, so it's very possible that Queenie could heal and be fine. She's stabbed herself and burned herself in previous episodes and survived. But a bullet hole in the back of the head could be a different story.

American Horror Story: Coven returns in January on FX with special guest star Stevie Nicks.
