Paul Walker finally laid to rest: Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez among guest, stars pay tribute on social media

Mstars recently reported that the beloved Fast & Furious star Paul Walker was laid to rest Saturday, in a private funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in L.A.

The cemetery, which is also the resting place to many stars, like Brittany Murphy, also was the place of Walkers funeral.  Walker, 40 who was cremated was honored in a small private memorial with family and Fast and Furious co-stars, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Michelle Rodriguez, according to E! News.

After the funeral, loved ones and friends gathered at another memorial located at the soundstage on the Universal lot, to listen to Ben Harper sing in memory of Walker.

According to E! sources revealed that, "There was a lot of crying" at the service, and that it was just very sad."

Following the service, Walker's co-star friends, took to Twitter and Instagram with heart felt tributes.

Tyrese posted on his Instagram page, "Today In a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead.... God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings."

Ludacris posted a picture of the program, and wrote, "Always in our hearts..."

Rodriguez went to Twitter, tweeting, "I said goodbye to a great man today, a man I never got to show just how much I love his spirit and his golden heart, 'stay golden pony boy'... I hope you get my tweet in heaven, ps your right; 'stop talking just do it already';) Love you Paul, your departure is fuel to my fire, we'll meet again, enjoy that light."

The director James Wan, of the hit movie of Walker's life, Fast and Furious tweeted,"Goodbye friend. Your generosity & kindness inspire me to want to be a better human being. I'm glad I got to know you."
