Box Office numbers play a huge part in moviemaking by determining the actual worth of the project after its release. As 2013 comes to an end, these Box Office figures are revisited in order to create the perfect list of the most disappointing movies of the year. Thanks to Variety, we have such a list for 2013!

If one of your favorite films of 2013 made it onto this list, rest assured that this is made up of financial failures and has little to do with the quality of the film. Sometimes, though, it has to do with both.
