Singer kesha wants to get her career back after she completes 30 days of rehab for an eating disorder.

According to RadarOnline.com, her mother, Pebe Sebert says that the singer wants t get back to her music and focus on songs that she wants to record, excluding the regular "Kesha pop music."

"If she needs to stay longer than 30 days, she will. She's trying to get her career back," Sebert added, "She wants to do the music she cares about...the music she wants to do. 'Tik Tok' was really her. But she was like 20 and now she's almost 27 and over it."

According to belfasttelegraph, Sebert had struggled with bulimia since living in Los Angeles when 18-years-old.

She said, "She was dieting and she became bulimic. I remember over a period of a few months she got really skinny and she said she was running Runyon Canyon and just eating well." The singer's mother added, "The truth is she was throwing up. I didn't know until much later because she said she would quit."

The singer's mother believes that after her rehab, it would help the singer express herself more with music she wants to do, "She doesn't want to be forced to make stupid pop music. Who knows, maybe she'll do blue grass. Whatever she wants to do! She should have the right to choose. The people she's working with don't even want her opinion," she told RadarOnline.
