'Fantastic Four' movie reboot potential plot details and cast

Fox's Fantastic Four movie reboot seems to be moving closer toward production. As MStars previously reported, the script for the film has been completed and official casting news should be released within a matter of weeks, if not sooner.

Several sites have attached Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station, Friday Night Lights, The Wire) to the role of Human Torch, a report that has circulated for nearly a year as Josh Trank, who worked with Jordan on Chronicle, will direct the movie.

[UPDATE: MStars News received a notice from Twentieth Century Fox's lawyers asking us to remove the purported plot details from the article. We have removed this portion of the article as a result.]

If true, this report would align with previous rumors that the reboot would focus on younger versions of the superhero group, similar to the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic books. This could explain why younger actors such as Miles Teller, Kit Harington and Alison Williams have all been brought up for the movie.

As always, nothing is official until the studio confirms it.
