T.I. to bounce back from divorce scandal with Pharrell-produced album
Things haven't been going so great for T.I. lately. There's a rumor floating around that the King Of The South has a divorce scandal on his hands after his wife Tiny found out about some women on the side. However, it seems like T.I. and T.I.P. will attempt to bounce back from that with a new, Pharrell-produced album.
The album will be called Paperwork: The Motion Picture and feature Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, B.O.B. and Jeezy. As for the sound of his album, Clifford Harris says he wants to keep up with the sonic developments surrounding hip-hop while ressurecting the dormant genre of gangstafied rap.
"People forgot how fun gangster shit is. People forgot how exciting it is to really live on the dangerous side of life," he told XXL. "Right now, music is going in a different direction and it is in a different place. I salute and celebrate that path as well. However, there's a place for the story that needs to be told from our perspective."
Pharrell, hat jokes aside, has been on fire for the last year and looks ready to ride that momentum into 2014. Let's hope T.I. catches some of Skateboard P's good juju.
