A Real Housewives of Atlanta husband, Peter Thomas is opening up about his friend, Apollo Nida's recent arrest and charges saying that he's far from a bad guy in an interview with Sister 2 Sister.

"I don't know nothing about it," Peter told Sister 2 Sister. "I have absolutely no comment on his arrest."

Peter added, "I just have to wait, like everyone else, to see how it plays out. I hope that everything will play out in the best form," Peter said.

Both Peter and Apollo started off rough almost fighting each other at Km Zolciak's baby shower, but became friends and were involved in yet another fight where Apollo tried to prevent the fight and later attacked Kenya Moore's friend, Brandon.

Peter defended Apollo actions for the on camera fight saying, "He's a really nice guy."

Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star couple, Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks may be heading the same path as Teresa and Joe Giudice from the Real Housewives of New Jersey with their own legal troubles.

According to TMZ, Apollo has been charged for identity theft after the Secret Service's Counterfeit and U.S. Treasury Check Squad alleged that the former convict created mock-up companies to obtain people's personal information for fraudulent reasons.

The entertainment site claims that the reality star then opened fake bank accounts and stole U.S. Treasury checks, stolen retirement checks from Delta Airline employees and unclaimed tax money.
