It's been a horrible time for seven-times Formula One champion, Michael Schumacher, and his family and friends, as he had a horrific skiing accident and the tragic event has been the center of the media's attention ever since. The latest talking point is whether the camera attached to his helmet had weakened it, causing the accident to happen.

Schumacher was close to death, but has thankfully been recovering, albeit slowly. The star hit a rock and his helmet shattered at the skiing resort, Meribel, which is based in France. He has suffered some brain damage and is still fighting for his life, although it's believed he will pull through and be able to live some what of a normal life.

He was skiing at a normal speed, so investigators have been trying to figure out why it shattered, and the latest belief is indeed the camera may have been the key factor behind this mess. His family have however been dealt the positive news that he has recovered from the pneumonia he got while in a coma in the French hospital.

It appears his health, and the investigation will both improve, although it might take a bit of time until we know why it's happened and until Michael can resume his normal life. The investigation should help to prevent further incidents of this nature, but on top of that it's vital that his health can be restored. With supportive friends and family around him, hopefully he will keep making the needed strides to a full recovery.
