New Orleans was set on fire for the NBA All Stars game this past weekend, with activities for out of town goers, and basketball. One of the best highlights of the weekend was a surprising performance from some of your favorite hip hop artist at the opening of the all star game.

Chris Paul and LeBron James opened up the performance and introduced Pharrell for the NBA All Star game. Pharrell then made his way on stage, then bringing out Nelly as they performed, "Hot in Here." One hype performance to remember was by Diddy, Busta Rhymes, and Pharrell as the trio took it back with "Pass the Courvoisier" changing the lyrics, saying "pass the rock this way," in other words drink ciroc, as the NBA all star players made their way through the crowd. East was introduced, including Carmelo Anthony and Paul George, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade. The men were some of the team players representing for the East.

The performance went on and Snoop Dogg stepped out for the hit song "Beautiful." Of course Snoop represented for the west, wearing a west team jacket. As the song still went on the West team then made their way through the crowd to be introduced.

Chris Paul, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwight Howard, and Tony Parker were some of the West side players.

East won 163-155 over the West on Sunday night.
