The BET Honors is still trending with high praises of the honorees and their work that they have accomplished. MStars reporter Star Connor was live on the red carpet, as Dr. Michael Eric Dyson and his wife Rev. Marcia Dyson expressed the joy of their peers accomplishments.

When asked how it felt to be attending the BET Honors, Dr. Michael Dyson said, " It's an honor to be at the BET Honors. To be here with Ken Chenault, it's great because I got a black card, and then you've got Ice Cube one of the great artist of all time, and then you've got Aretha Franklin, and of course the great Berry Gordy, the founder of Motion so this is an extraordinary expression of the range of black talent and the genius of black people being able to survive no matter what."

"Look at their ages, Berry Gordy is in his 80s, you've got people into their 70s and in their 60s being celebrated, and Ice Cube number one movie for three weeks in a roll.

Dyson and his wife call Ice Cube, "the Bill Cosby of his generation," Dyson also noted what a transformation the actor has made. Check out the full interview now, the BET Honors will air once again, Monday March 3, at 10 p.m.
